  • To Provide the Service: To create, host, and make your Letters accessible via a unique, unguessable link.

  • Secure Storage: Data is stored on secure servers with restricted access.
  • Unique Links: Letters are only accessible via unique, unguessable links.
  • Cloudflare Services: We utilize Cloudflare's infrastructure, which includes security features such as DDoS protection and a Web Application Firewall (WAF).

However, no method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law.

  • Letters: Letters created on Artisan Letters will be actively hosted on a custom webpage on our platform for a period of 3 years from the date of creation. The static HTML or original code for your letter will be made available to you immediately upon creation, allowing you to download and host it independently if you choose. After the 3-year hosting period, the letter will be removed from our servers.
  • Client Email Addresses: We retain your email address as long as your account remains active, and for a grace period of 30 days after account closure.
  • User Deletion: You can request deletion of your letters at any time by contacting us through our contact page. Please clearly state that your request is for letter deletion and include your email address and the link(s) to the letter(s) you wish to delete.
  • Grace Period: Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, letters will be removed from our active hosting servers within a grace period of 30 days.
  • Backup: Data backups are retained for 30 days.

You have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Erasure: You can request that we delete your personal information. Please see the "Data Retention" section for instructions on how to request deletion.
  • Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information, in certain circumstances.
